“You’re a typical male!” These were Abdi’s first words to Alex. As you can imagine Alex was shocked and at the same time ecstatic that the cute girl glued to her book was actually talking to him!!! It was a Thursday night and fate had simultaneously led Abdi and Alex to the same Barnes and Noble for a night of relaxing reading. On his way to pick up a few Car magazines, (In his spare time Alex enjoys racing his Nissan 350 Z) he noticed a pretty girl buried in a stack of books and completely into the book she was reading at the time. He so badly wanted to stop and just say hi, but on his first attempt, he opened his mouth and no words came out, so he quickly went back to his chair. He thought he would give it a second try, so as he approached her again, much to his surprise, he opened his mouth again to introduce himself…and….silence….so, back to his chair he went. This continued for at least 3 more rounds!!! As much as Abdi was into her book, she did happen to notice the cute guy who was making a trail in the carpet right in front of her. So Abdi decided to introduce herself first and they are both soooooooo glad she did!
They chose the Snebly Winery for the first part of their session because of its natural beauty and Matheson Hammocks for the second part of their session for a very sentimental reason ;0).
Kudos to Abdi and Alex for enduring a freezing (by Miami standards ;0) and windy day for their session
why the shoes you ask? only because abdi is one AMAZING runner…not just run around the block runner, we’re talking many marathons kind of runner!!!! she is definitely one of my running heroes!
